As promised, a full-color version of that Mercedes sketch I posted a little while ago. I tried a few different techniques and am mostly satisfied with the results. Of course, that doesn't rule out the possibility of revisiting and refining this piece in the future.

I'll go ahead and throw in the early draft of her ESP.er bio, while I'm at it. Remember that the info below is in the rough draft stage, please!

A semi-professional stunt woman by age nine, Jennifer was given the nickname Mercedes," an embodiment of both her beauty and her passion for speed. The lack of rules after Black Tuesday was exciting at first, but the absence of anything to rebel against quickly became drab. Upon discovering her ability to control gravity, Mercedes pushed her pursuit of thrills to new heights, riding her custom cycle in ways (and places) never before even remotely possible. While this provided an endless supply of fun, it never seemed to fill the void left in Mercedes by the end of any form of government. Sure, the girl's always been an anarchy-minded kind of gal... but who knew it could be so god damned boring?

Since The Fool has come to power, however, she has found an authority figure. Mercedes has never been one for being told what to do. She naturally decides to buck this self-proclaimed god. Breaking the law has always been a way of life to her. Besides... when the hell has she ever been able to snub authority with the kind of powers now at her disposal?
